Can the gift card be used for a hotel or car rental?: Yes. Ulysse gift cards can be used to pay for flights, hotels and car rentals offered on ulysse.com, subject to availability and the terms of each offer. The recipient enters their code at checkout on Ulysse, not on the provider’s website or at the destination. Each service must be booked separately: this isn’t a flight + hotel + car package.
Who can a business give a travel gift card to?: A business can give a Ulysse gift card to its employees, clients or partners. It’s a way to thank a client, celebrate someone’s retirement or reward a team, while letting the recipient choose their travel dates and destination from the available offers.
How do I arrange a gift card order for a business or employee representative committee (CSE)?: Select “Request cards” to enter the quantities, amounts and billing details. Our team will review your request and send you a document outlining how to confirm and pay. No payment is due and no purchase is confirmed at this stage. Would you prefer some help? Select “Talk to our team”.
How long is the card valid, and can it be used more than once?: The card is valid for 730 days from the date of purchase and can be used to make bookings on Ulysse. It can be used all at once or in multiple transactions, up to its available balance. If a booking costs more, the recipient can pay the difference using one of the payment methods offered. Any remaining balance keeps its original expiry date. Taxes, deposits and extras payable at the destination depend on the offer booked.
Are travel gift cards automatically exempt from taxes and social contributions when offered by a CSE?: No, there is no automatic tax or social contribution exemption. The rules depend on factors including the country, occasion, amount and recipient’s circumstances. In France, a CSE or employer should check the applicable URSSAF rules with an adviser before distributing cards. Ulysse gift cards are not ANCV holiday vouchers.
